After an initial assessment, I proceed with the disassembly. It still shows no signs of corrosion, and the metal is shiny. The components are well made and free of burrs.
Manual hand planes allow you to perform tasks with maximum precision; the blade must be perfectly sharpened and set at the correct angle. By adjusting the blade position, you define the depth of cut.
