Traditional taps often have leaks caused by the fact that the sealing gasket does not completely hold due to encrustations or due to the aging of the rubber it is made of.
In this case it will be necessary to proceed in this way:
- Close the general tap
- Remove the faucet body
- Replace the gasket
- Ream and clean the seal sealing area
- Replace the faucet Ol>
Remove the scale from the mixer
To remove limescale from the mixer, avoid using anti-scale products as they ruin the chrome. To eliminate the incrustations use instead vinegar and ammonia.
