Test result
Both tools are of excellent quality, although each has its own particular characteristics and strengths:
- Beta , the ratchet handle with joint for greater tightening torque even has an insert holder inside. Weak point, the insert holders that are inserted into it do not have a firm seal and sometimes tend to detach.
- Wera , light and slender handle with an excellent ergonomic handle. The coupling is solid, the long couplings supplied are in position. However, it does not allow large tightening torques to be applied.
- Beta , the inserts also include bushes, they are of good quality but being short the grafts require an extension that can get in the way if the screws are placed in the grooves.
- Wera , the practicality of long couplings and the great variety of types is undeniable, but no bushes are provided
- Beta , the case is qualitative, in painted metal and plastic closure. Two-tone sponge padding, excellent.
- Wera , the cordura packaging is solid, practical when moving, less on a workshop bench, on the other hand it is very compact.
- Beta , price around 110 euros based on the offers.
- Wera , price around 75 euros.
